The "O" in O Communications

Olga Luz Tirado founded O Communications & Solutions in 2017, providing public relations, marketing, and event management services to organizations including BronxWorks, L+M Development Partners, International Leadership Charter Schools, Hoodspitality, the Yonkers South Broadway Business Improvement District, and the Throggs Neck Business Improvement District, among others.

Previously, she served for ten years as Executive Director and spokesperson for The Bronx Tourism Council, where she led the borough’s signature events, including Bronx Week, Tour de Bronx — the largest free cycling event in New York State — and Savor The Bronx Restaurant Week. Under her leadership, participation in these initiatives grew by an average of 200%.

Olga also created and produced Go Bronx Pod, which received the 2021 Webby Award for Best Limited Series from the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences. She is currently developing additional media projects.

Before her tenure at The Bronx Tourism Council, Olga was President of LTCommunications, a public relations, marketing, and event production agency representing national brands such as Simon & Schuster, Goya Foods, and IBM. Throughout her career, she has received numerous industry, trade, and community awards recognizing her leadership and impact.

Olga Luz Tirado serves on the Board of Directors for the Huntington Free Library, the New York State Tourism Industry Association (NYSTIA), the Hudson Valley Regional Council, and Orange Bank & Trust. She also serves on New York State Governor Kathy Hochul’s Tourism Advisory Council. She is a member of the New York State Tourism Industry Association and the Latino Corporate Directors Association.
